How to Place an Order as a Customer

Placing an order on WAO is simple and convenient. Follow this guide to make your first purchase.

Step 1: Find a Vendor

1. Browse Vendors
   • Go to your Customer Dashboard
   • Click on "Browse Vendors" or the store icon
   • Use the search bar to find specific vendors or products
2. Filter by Category
   • Food & Groceries
   • Electronics
   • Fashion
   • Beauty & Health
   • Home & Living
   • Services

Step 2: Browse Products

1. View Vendor Store
   • Click on a vendor to view their products
   • See product images, prices, and descriptions
   • Check if the store is open or closed
2. Select Products
   • Review the product details
   • Note any discounts or special offers
   • Check stock availability

Step 3: Place Your Order

1. Click "Order Now"
   • This will open WhatsApp with your order details
   • Review the order summary
   • Add any special instructions
2. Send Order via WhatsApp
   • Confirm your order details
   • Send the message to the vendor
   • The vendor will confirm your order

Step 4: Track Your Order

• View Order Status
  • Go to "My Orders" in your dashboard
  • See order status: Pending, Processing, Completed, Cancelled
  • Track delivery progress
• Receive Updates
  • Get notifications when your order status changes
  • Receive SMS and email updates

Payment Options

• Cash on Delivery - Pay when you receive your order
• Mobile Money - Pay via MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, or AirtelTigo Money
• Card Payment - Pay with credit/debit cards (coming soon)
• Cryptocurrency - Pay with Bitcoin, USDT, or Ethereum (available for selected vendors)
